Spotted two hawk species…

A sharpie popped up onto a tree branch after rustling through the chaparral after prey this morning. Then a coop dove into the chaparral just behind me on the trail. I slowly backtracked but I went too far and the coop popped up behind me and headed back to their treetop perch.
