wildlife activity is increasing day by day…

I snapped a redtail flying across the river carrying a branch yesterday. I spotted a peregrine the other day. The falcon was too far away to snap a good picture. There was rain last night and the river flow doubled. The water was brown this morning and the mallards seemed to be flying in circles looking for a rock to land near and climb up on to. I hear red-shouldered hawks practically everyday in the neighborhood as well as spot them at the river. They nest somewhere nearby, probably in a Mexican palm a couple blocks away.
