Mergansers passed by…

Wildlife activity remains low this month in and around Ventura river. Besides this morning’s merganser flyby and the cormorant sitings last week the common sitings have been red-tailed hawks, cooper’s hawks, killdeer, and mallards at the river. I almost forgot to mention that I snap a sharp-shinned hawk from the backyard last evening.
